The ducks are just up ahead.
For a duck pond, there are never any ducks. I'm not even positive that they call it Duck Pond. Maybe it's just me. But there are always frogs or toads, so it's better to describe it as the Toad Pond, but I think I would have had a harder time luring Marie out there had I spoke of it that way.
