Gathering Blue

I picked up this book mainly because I wanted to see what happens after "The Giver." Of course it doesn't really cover that, but starts a new story. It's not exactly a page-turner. It was a chore for me to read, but I did finish it. Needless to say, "The Giver" was the author's magnum opus. Read this only if you simply must know more about that odd land where magic just occurs in strange spots.
