ROME - If all roads lead here, why can't I find the exit!?!
Roma! Ah, here's why we came. Rome is nice -- not to be confused with 'Nice' which is in France. Actually, they may be exactly the same. I wouldn''t know. I haven't been there. Go easy on me, it's gonna take some time to see the whole world.
Rome has a lot to see. In many ways, it's like any other metropolis, complete with people in a hurry and information booth workers annoyed at having to give out information.
Still, it's got a lot to offer. The colisseum was the biggest attraction we saw. There are statues, pillars, and street vendors all over the city. Most of the city is within walking distance -- provided you have the time, and LOTS of it. If you don't have the time, take the metro. Just hang on to your wallet. I myself, kept a decoy wallet in my back pocket. However, it was never stolen. Guess my money wasn't good enough for them.
We did include the Vatican pictures in the Rome area even though it's supposed to be separate from Rome and maybe even Italy. I'm not sure what the deal is there, it's very complicated. Hopefully, the Pope knows for sure. But hey, it was within walking distance, and that's good enough for us!
