p>Better. Much better than Book 4. Granted, it gets slow at times like they all do. Martin is a wordy bloke. Few would argue that. But this one picks up steam at times, and I enjoyed reading it.

Again—wordy. There are times where that aspect made it rather dull. And perhaps I might have been rushing to finally finish it, which didn’t help much.

If you’ve read all the others, then certainly this one is a must too—even if you’ve already spoiled it all by watching the show. There are differences and a few surprises to boot.
