I mainly picked up this book (audiobook) because the author wrote "Shutter Island," and I really enjoyed that novel.

This one does not do as well. It’s entertaining. I liked reading it, but it never really took off for me, and when I think back on it, I can only remember it being "okay." No, make that "good." Not great, but good. It does have some cool scenes and situations that do well. Just the overall story comes up a little short.

Apparently, it was made into a film, though I never saw it, or even knew about it until writing this review. Guess it did not do very well. I am guessing the book is better.
