Another afternoon flight. I suppose it works. I prepared in the morning and then took Uber to the Stadium train station to save money, as the fare estimate for the full trip was around $70. Stadium was the perfect answer. The tracks are close to the drop-off area and at ground level. I just walked maybe 50 years and waited for the train.

Next I was at the airport. I found my way to the gate and waited for my flight. I had been upgraded to first class so it was much more comfortable. But I had an aisle seat and for first class, it’s nice to have the window since it’s easier to get around the other passengers. No matter. I did manage to somehow capture Mr. Rainier when we flew past it. Tougher to do when you’re in the aisle seat.

For a drink, I had an old fashioned, or maybe two. We also were served pretzels with the nets, which was new. Maybe they were low on nuts. I skipped the pretzels though. Just too many empty carbs. The meal was a pulled pork and rice and not bad. Overall, a very nice flight to Florida.

In Fort Myers, it was dark when we landed. I picked up my large suitcase and waited for Serena to pick me up.

When she arrived, we headed to Cape Coral. I was a little hungry so we tried for a BK but it was closed. Then McDonald’s. However, the car in front of us was very slow to order. And it was still taking too long even after we were ready to order, so we just took off. It wasn’t worth the wait.

At home, we saw John and Tony who were watching a movie. After some time, John took off and we all watched some tele and then crashed. I had the couch this time around.
