Ah, my first insanity adventure. This would involve…
A flight to Seattle. It started in the evening and got me into Seattle around 8pm. I then had to wait an hour there and take a 9pm flight to Fairbanks, Alaska. I arrived around 1am. Not too ideal. I then waited an hour or so and took another flight BACK to Seattle. At that point, I met friends and enjoyed my vacation.
The reason of course was for the miles. I earned LOTS of them on that trip. I also upgraded to first class so the experience would not be too dreadful, but it was exhausting. I did not sleep well on the planes.
In Seattle, I hung out with friends for the weekend and then flew back home. STRAIGHT home this time.
I would do a similar thing in December.
