I had been planning this trip even before I moved to Seattle, but I knew I'd be leaving from SeaTac so no big changes were needed. I took a Lyft to the airport for $55 and got there around 7 PM. After passing security I headed over to S-Gate where British Airways primarily flies out of. Because I had a business class ticket I had access to the lounge there and it was pretty nice. I went easy on food and drink because I would be getting on the plane.

A little while later I got onto my flight and was promptly served a glass of champagne. It was a very nice seat and next to the window. Waiting for me were my amenity kit containing socks, a toothbrush, a pen, an eye mask, ear plugs, and other little helpful items. They also provided pajamas a pillow, a blanket, and a seat cover. I got comfortable, and soon we were up in the air.

The menu was fairly nice. There were two red wines offered and one port. I believe I tried all three. Often in business class there's no plastic. I got a real plate and silverware, and had an excellent appetizer containing shrimp, and a mango and corn mix. For my main meal, I got a roll, salad, beef, asparagus, leeks, potatoes, and spinach. There was no shortage of food. And really, you can order all you want. They will serve it to you if you ask. On the entertainment display, I noticed they actually said merry Christmas, which was most welcome. I never actually used it much, but it was a decent size screen. Oh, and after dinner, I of course got the dessert. I believe it was a type of cheesecake. (It was hard to tell.) And that was about it for me. It was about 11:45pm, and I then turned my seat into a bed and fell fast asleep.

Next thing I knew it was daylight and my phones said 6am, but it will soon change to 3pm due to the time zones. You see, I was now in London.
