This was going to be a difficult show to get to no matter where I lived because getting up to the Presidio in San Francisco is never an easy task. But since I lived up in Seattle, I did have to fly down and get to the show, so regardless, I would not be driving.

I took a flight down in the morning. I had been upgrade to first class so I got served a meal. It was protein platter and edible. I arrived at SFO around 1pm. It was fun to see some of the old iconic sights that I once drove over like the San Mateo Bridge. From there, no one from the cast was able to give me a ride, so I decided to take BART up to the Civic Center station. It had been years since I took a BART train I did wasn't even sure how to get a ticket at that point. But I figured it out, and put $10 on a ticket and then found the train. What. An. Experience.

The people on the train seem to be pretty good folk, but the train itself was just awful. The seats were stained, and the backs were stained and it just looked like it was in an awful condition. I'm surprised anyone wants to ride this thing at all. It was really disappointing. It also took about 30 minutes to get just several miles up into San Francisco, so that wasn't ideal – and the top it off, it cost my entire $10 on my ticket which seemed like a crazy price. Yeah next time I'll try to take over in such situations.

I did decide to walk around the Civic area which was fun to do, and I got to see some really impressive buildings from there. I could've take an Uber to the house where the show was taking place, but I also had about an hour, so I figured I might as well walk. Now some of the streets in San Francisco aren't too bad, but others you can totally tell how much the current homeless situation is affecting them. It just looked like a really bad time to be on the streets of San Francisco, however that changed the farther north I got. It was just interesting that in these richer neighborhoods the problem wasn't as big, yet there were shops and places people could have done panhandling or put up tents. But I guess with a lot of money you have a lot more sway and they are able to keep the problem away. Anyway that's not really my concern because I don't live there.

I was able to get a few great or decent photos of Alcatraz as I was up pretty high, but there were always buildings in the way so I couldn't get an ideal shot. There was one hill that was really nice and offered a great view of the area and it was free (Alta Plaza Park). Anyone was welcome to go up there and throw a frisbee or have a picnic or just enjoy the park, I think it's even a good place for tourists to come and check out if they're visiting San Francisco.

Time was ticking, so I finally had to get over to the show. They lived within eyesight of the Presidio. Summary: this was a very nice home. I had looked up the price later and it was pretty amazing. The bottom level even had a turntable for the cars in the garage, as well as an elevator or two, to get up to the higher levels. I believe there was a pool too. Yup. This house was just really fancy, and oh yeah, quite a nice wine cellar – or wine room I guess in such a place as it's not really in a cellar. Just a chilled room with glass walls all around it.

We were staged up in a green room, and it worked rather nicely, though there was a stairs to go down to get to the performance area which was a dining room. You see, the host’s daughter had wanted a Victorian mystery for her birthday party and she invited five friends to be a part of it. They were dressed up in costumes as well, and despite their age, they seem to really enjoy the show. I think everyone had a good time and, it turned out far better than I would've ever expected.

After the event, we packed up and I got a ride from Tenaya over to the Crone Plaza next to SFO where I would be staying for the night, since it was too late to catch any flights home. I checked in after a very long wait (I think it was about 30 minutes.) And then relaxed there until morning. The price of the room wasn’t too bad though not cheap either ($176).
