This was my second trip in June for heading to Florida for a dinner show. I was becoming a regular traveling actor. It was an early afternoon flight, so I took Uber over in the late morning. One notable thing was that it was in a Tesla, and I think it was the first time I’d ever been in one. Pretty cool, especially the roof that was mostly glass. Nice!
I got my upgrade so it was first class. My first task was to order a double scotch. The meal was some chicken dish, which was okay. They then offered a mini ice cream and I couldn’t turn that down. Otherwise, your average flight across America. We landed around 9pm. My friend Serena had some things to take care of before picking me up, so I waited about an hour there, which was fine. It was nice to take in the different weather.
We headed over to the Palace Wine Pub and Bar. Interesting name. I guess they wanted to have the fancier name of Pub, but still keep Bar so people here understood what it was. So be it. We had some wine and just chatted for an hour or so. Good times. Then we returned to the house. I said hello to the cats and made a video, and then slept.
