    Idaho has waterfalls?!?

Well, I was about to find out.

This trip started with me learning more about SeaTac, mainly that the signs and data for the checkpoints are not very accurate. I opted to take checkpoint one because it supposedly had the shortest wait, which I guess it kind of did...since it was not even open when they said it was. In fact, I rarely find it open outside of pretty standard work hours.

Alas, my flight was delayed. Not fun, but I guess it was as good a time as any to use up another lounge pass. I found the new Alaska lounge and tried it out. Very small, but it does have some cozy recliners, which I enjoyed. The food selection was very sparse and some of the decent drinks they charge for. The views are not of the runways, but sort of the back loading areas. Overall, I guess if it’s free, then it’s fine. But definitely not worth paying good money for.

After boarding, I found my first class seat and we soon were in the air and flying to Boise. Those flights are often slated for around 1.5 hours but then the captain will say it’s about an hour in the air, so yeah, very fast. In Boise, I took Uber to my parents’ home.
