    November 11/09/00 8:38am (PST) 4:38pm (GMT)

Below us seems to be only water. Not much turbulence, just a bit. We had our meals. I chose the lamb. We are finishing up our trip. Let's catch up.

Our train ride ended at the Rome station. We then walked over to our old hotel, the Fawlty Towers to see if they had any rooms left for the night. We were in luck. They did have one so we took it! After getting some money out of an ATM, we visited the train station and got tickets for the train ride to the airport.

We had our final dinner in Rome at Bruno's. The food was good and the price was as well. Although we still did not make the dinner last three hours, we had a delicious dinner for our last night there. The only bad thing was that the street vendors were allowed in the restaurant to sell their tacky knickknacks.

We awoke at 5AM. Yes, 5AM.... We had a 5:42 train to catch. The trains were difficult to figure out. As always, we barely caught the right one to the airport.

At the airport, we found our gate without a problem and boarded out 8:20 flight to England.

The flight was smooth, and the passenger next to us was Matt. He was friendly and we all chatted on the flight. By the way, I also managed to get some pictures of the Swiss Alps and part of France. I also was quite lucky and got a few photos of Westminster and a big Ferris wheel. The photos may not turn out nice, but it doesn't matter. Seeing the sights live was good enough for me.

Our stay in England was shorter this time, so we weren't able to go skip through the streets of England again.

After a small lunch in England, we boarded our plane to San Francisco. Time to say good bye to Europe....

    For now.....
